HILOWAVE is a Dual-HA-based injectable product combining high-molecular-weight and low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid.
It is used to temporarily improve facial wrinkles by injecting cross-linked hyaluronic acid beneath the skin.
Its distinguishing feature is a Dual-HA composition that uses hyaluronic acid of different molecular sizes together. Treatment is planned considering both the property of spreading into surrounding tissue and volume supplementation.
Hyaluronic acid has the property of retaining moisture. Actual changes are assessed by checking both the shape of wrinkles and skin condition together.
The degree of wrinkling and volume loss is examined to set goals, and the injection site and amount are adjusted accordingly. Volume changes may also appear after injection.
HILOWAVE is presented as a Dual-HA collagen booster, and there is test data on collagen and elastin response. Since actual changes vary by individual, progress is monitored by checking wrinkles and skin condition after treatment.
Swelling, bruising, redness, and tenderness may occur after injection. During recovery, please do not press or rub the injection site strongly, and follow the clinic’s care instructions. Even with hyaluronic acid products, complications such as nodules, delayed inflammation, or those resulting from intravascular injection can occur.
If swelling or pain gradually worsens, or if a hard lump is felt, please contact the clinic. If severe pain, skin color changes, or visual disturbances occur, you must be evaluated by physician immediately.
Immediately after the procedure, a sense of volume from the injection and swelling may appear together. After the swelling subsides, changes in wrinkles and skin condition are observed; the timing and extent of change vary by individual.
