EVE MUSE AI Skin Analysis

EVE MUSE Consultation at a Glance

Item Details
What is it? An AI skin analysis device that provides skin images under multiple light sources and a 3D facial model.
How is it used? After the physician reviews the AI analysis results, they are used as reference material for consultation together with a questionnaire and in-person examination.
What does it check? It checks analysis items such as the distribution and pattern of pigmentation visible under each light source, redness and blood vessels, skin texture and pores, wrinkle depth, and facial proportion, contour, and profile angle.
How does it change the consultation? Your current condition is reviewed together through images, allowing the priority of your concerns and possible approaches to be explained in concrete terms.
Important limitation AI analysis does not replace a medical diagnosis and does not guarantee results or treatment outcomes.

How Is the Consultation Conducted Based on the AI Skin Analysis?

The EVE MUSE consultation at WayB Clinic is not simply a process of checking a “skin score.” It is a process in which the physician interprets the visual data compiled by the AI and connects it with the concerns the patient actually experiences to establish the basis for consultation.

01 Imaging

After cleansing, images are taken under normal light, UV (ultraviolet), and polarized light, and a 3D facial model is generated.

02 AI Analysis

Analysis items such as pigmentation, redness, and skin texture are analyzed from the skin images, and information on facial proportion and contour is compiled.

03 Medical Staff Interpretation

Rather than looking only at the analysis results, the skin condition, medical history, lifestyle habits, prior treatments, and current concerns are reviewed together.

04 Personalized Consultation

We explain what is needed first, what does not need to be done right now, and the possible treatments and their limitations.

05 Establishing the Plan

Whether to proceed with treatment, and its type, intensity, and interval, are determined by the physician after an in-person consultation. You may also receive only the analysis without undergoing treatment.

What Looks Different Depending on the Light Source?

Item Details
Normal light Checks the skin tone and texture visible to the eye to examine the overall impression.
UV (ultraviolet) Pigmentation patterns not clearly visible under normal light are examined together with UV images, serving as a reference for pigmentation-management consultation.
Cross-polarized light Reduces surface reflection to check redness and blood vessel distribution, serving as a reference for consultation related to flushing and inflammation.
Parallel-polarized light Emphasizes reflection on the skin surface, serving as a reference for examining wrinkles, pores, and skin texture.
3D facial model Examines wrinkle depth, the elevation of the facial surface, left-right differences, and proportion, contour, and profile angle, serving as a reference for volume and contour consultation and before-and-after comparison.

Comparing images from multiple light sources and analysis modes side by side allows you to examine how pigmentation, redness, and skin texture appear differently in the same area.

For example, if a patient visits with the concern of “dark circles,” we look together at whether redness and vascular elements stand out in the cross-polarized image, whether pigmentation elements are identified in the UV image, and whether under-eye hollowing and shadow elements appear in the 3D model. Rather than concluding on a single cause, several possibilities are explained separately, so that “why a certain approach is being considered” is clarified before “what to do.”

The Same Standard Is Applied to Before-and-After Comparisons

EVE MUSE helps compare before and after treatment on a more consistent standard by capturing images under the same lighting and angle conditions. The purpose is to reduce optical illusions caused by differences in lighting and expression, and to check the images together with actual satisfaction.

  • Images captured under the same conditions and at the same angle are compared with one another.
  • Results are not judged based solely on images taken immediately after treatment, when swelling or erythema may still be present.
  • Changes in analysis figures do not always correspond to the patient’s satisfaction or treatment outcome.
  • Because the meaning of the score and grade differs for each item, skin condition is not judged merely because a figure is high or low; the physician interprets each item individually.

What EVE MUSE AI Skin Analysis Cannot Do

  • It does not replace diagnosis. Diagnosis of skin conditions is made through the physician’s examination and any necessary tests.
  • It does not guarantee results. An improvement in the analysis figures does not automatically translate into satisfaction.
  • It does not automatically determine treatment. The final plan is decided by the physician, taking into account medical history, lifestyle patterns, schedule, and skin condition.

Preparation Before Imaging and Personal Information Management

  • To accurately assess pigmentation and redness, imaging after cleansing is recommended.
  • The captured images are managed as part of the medical record.
  • Use for promotional or publication purposes requires separate consent, apart from consent to treatment.
  • Images are not disclosed externally without consent, and even when consent is given, they are used only after identifying elements have been checked.
