WayB approach Rejuran is combined with Comfort Solution and injected in divided doses with a small, thin needle, tailored to the skin thickness of each area.
Suitable for Cases requiring recovery care for underlying dryness, fine lines, thinned skin, or skin sensitized after laser treatments
Procedure time About 20–30 minutes (topical anesthesia time separate)
Pain level Topical anesthesia, Comfort Solution, and fine-needle injection reduce discomfort, but there is individual variation.
Onset of effect Changes in skin texture and dryness are generally observed over 2–4 weeks.
Recommended sessions & interval Typically 3–4 sessions at 2–4 week intervals as a baseline, with response reassessed after 2 sessions.
Downtime Temporary raised bumps (small papules) generally subside within 1–3 days. Redness, swelling, and bruising may accompany the procedure, and duration varies by individual.

What Is Rejuran?

Rejuran is a medical device whose main ingredient is PN (polynucleotide), formulated with Pharma Research’s DOT technology. At WayB, we assess concerns about skin condition — texture, fine lines, elasticity, and more — to determine whether Rejuran treatment is suitable.

Even when skin concerns are similar, skin thickness, dryness, sensitivity, and prior treatment experience can differ. Before the procedure, we check your skin condition and the changes you want, and explain the products used, the injection method, and the recovery process together with you.

What Makes WayB’s Comfort Rejuran Different?

Comfort Rejuran is an in-clinic treatment program that adds WayB’s proprietary Comfort Solution to Rejuran and adjusts the fine needle and injection method to reduce the burden of pain.

Based on the characteristics of the Rejuran product, we check each individual’s pain sensitivity and skin condition before proceeding. Pain levels vary by individual, and swelling, temporary raised bumps, redness, and bruising may appear after the procedure. Along with a comfortable treatment process, we also explain the expected recovery response and aftercare.

Who Is It Suitable For?

  • Underlying dryness where a tight, taut feeling persists even after applying moisturizer
  • Shallow fine lines around the eyes and mouth, and thinned skin
  • Recovery care for skin sensitized after laser treatments
  • Those who want Rejuran but are concerned about the pain of repeated manual injections

Cases Not Suitable, or Requiring a Consultation First

  • When the primary goal is filling sunken volume or changing facial contours: filler or lifting treatments should be considered first.
  • Cases with acute inflammation or infection at the treatment site
  • Those who are pregnant or breastfeeding, or who have a history of allergy to salmon- or fish-derived ingredients
  • Those with a bleeding disorder or taking anticoagulants: do not stop medication on your own — be sure to inform us at your consultation.

How Does It Work?

Unlike fillers, which create volume immediately within the skin, PN works by supporting the dermis’s recovery environment. Because small amounts are injected at multiple points, temporary papules may form on the skin’s surface, which are absorbed over time.

When Does It Take Effect, and How Long Does It Last?

  • 2–4 weeks: Changes in dryness and skin texture are gradually observed.
  • After 3–4 sessions: Skin condition is evaluated to establish a maintenance plan.
  • Maintenance: Generally, a 2–3 month interval is used as a reference, adjusted according to skin condition and lifestyle.

Components of WayB Comfort Rejuran Treatment

Component WayB’s Approach
Injected ingredient Rejuran (PN) combined with WayB’s Comfort Solution.
Injection method Manual fine-needle injection using a small, thin needle, or X-Injector, chosen according to skin condition and treatment area.
Injection design Depth, volume, and speed are adjusted based on the skin thickness and sensitivity of each area.
Pain management Topical anesthesia, Comfort Solution, and adjustment of the injection method are applied together.

How Is the Procedure Performed?

  • Consultation: Skin thickness, dryness, fine lines, prior treatment history, and pain sensitivity are assessed.
  • Topical anesthesia: Usually applied for 20–30 minutes, with the time adjusted according to sensitivity.
  • Comfort Solution mixing: WayB’s Comfort Solution is combined with Rejuran. The specific application and ratio may vary depending on skin condition and clinical judgment.
  • Injection: Depending on skin condition and treatment area, small amounts are injected in divided doses using manual fine-needle injection or X-Injector. Depth, volume, and speed are set differently for thin areas such as around the eyes versus broader areas such as the cheeks.
  • Soothing: The procedure concludes with cooling and soothing care.

Before starting, a stop signal is agreed upon, and if pain increases during the procedure, the speed and the amount injected at one time are adjusted.

Recovery and Precautions

Small papules are a normal injection response and generally subside within 1–3 days. In areas with thinner skin, such as around the eyes, they may be visible a bit longer, and bruising and swelling vary by individual.

First 48 Hours After the Procedure

  • Avoid saunas, jjimjilbang (Korean-style sauna/bathhouse), strenuous exercise, and excessive alcohol consumption.
  • Temporarily stop using irritating products such as scrubs, peels, and retinol.
  • Do not rub or press firmly on the treated area.
  • Use plenty of moisturizer and sunscreen.

Please Contact the Clinic If

  • Regardless of how much time has passed since the procedure, if swelling, redness, or pain progressively worsens, please contact the clinic.
  • If the treated area is accompanied by a feeling of heat, pus, or fever, please contact the clinic.
  • Papules persist for more than 2 weeks or feel like firm nodules

How WayB Approaches This

  • We combine our Comfort Solution with Rejuran and inject it using a small, thin needle.
  • We adjust injection depth, volume, and speed to account for differences in skin thickness across areas.
  • We check your comfort throughout the procedure and adjust anesthesia time, injection speed, and the amount delivered at each injection.
  • After 2 sessions, we review dryness, skin texture, how long the raised bumps last, and how treatment fits your schedule, then adjust the next steps.
  • We provide consultations and procedures in a private room, with consultation available in Korean, English, Chinese, and Japanese.

The core main ingredient is the same Rejuran PN. At WayB, we combine it with Comfort Solution to reduce the burden of the injection process, and inject it carefully in divided doses with a small, thin needle.

No. Topical anesthesia, Comfort Solution, and fine-needle injection reduce the burden of pain, but discomfort can vary depending on skin thickness, sensitivity, and the treatment area.

A.

No, it is different. A Hydrating Skin Booster (Water-Glow Injection) mainly involves injecting hyaluronic-acid-based moisturizing ingredients, while Rejuran is a regenerative skin booster based on PN. The purpose and recommended plan differ.

A.

Some people notice a change after a single session, but since this treatment aims for skin recovery, 3–4 sessions at 2–4 week intervals are generally used as a reference. At WayB, we check the response after 2 sessions and adjust the plan.

A.

Small papules generally subside within 1–3 days. They may be visible longer depending on thin areas such as around the eyes, skin condition, and the amount injected.

A.

Depending on skin condition and treatment area, manual fine-needle injection or X-Injector may be considered. Since no single method is more suitable for every area, the decision is made after consultation.
